Running a business is a tough journey, and throughout my life, I've always strived for success, aiming to be my best and achieve greatness.

Having worked in the Construction Industry as a Qualified Surveyor for ten years, I learned valuable lessons about what not to do when leading and motivating people and running a successful business.

Frustrated with inadequate bosses and poor practices, my life took a turn when I discovered an American company specializing in training individuals to focus on their business and personal goals. Feeling demotivated at the time, I invested in their course, realizing it was an essential investment in my future success. The insights I gained were transformational, prompting me to resign from my Associate Partner position and embark on a new journey marketing and selling these courses. Witnessing the incredible results my clients achieved in their businesses and personal lives, I knew I had found my true calling.

Seeking better opportunities and driven by political unrest in Zimbabwe, I purchased the Master-License for the UK and settled in Oxfordshire with my family. Full of confidence and enthusiasm, I established my business from scratch, but the reality of starting anew in a foreign country with no contacts soon became daunting.

Despite the challenges, I learned valuable skills like persuasive selling, nurturing client relationships, and maintaining a positive attitude in the face of adversity. I assembled a team and achieved some success, but we struggled due to outdated and inefficient business systems that hindered consistent growth.

In 2013, I joined Oxford Innovation's team, working to help UK businesses thrive amidst a recession. Here, I honed my expertise in Strategic Alliances and Joint Ventures, becoming one of the top performers in our mission to revitalize British businesses.

However, my contract with Oxford Innovation came to an abrupt end due to government austerity measures. It was then that a small accountancy firm approached me to become their business development manager. Over the years, we transformed the company's turnover from £650k to an impressive £8.5m by 2021, with profit margins surpassing industry averages. The firm soared to #79 among the Top 100 Accountancy firms in the UK.

In 2022, I became the CEO, but shortly after, life threw a devastating challenge my way – Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Battling through aggressive Chemotherapy and a COVID-19 infection that landed me in intensive care, I emerged determined to make a meaningful impact in the lives of ambitious business owners who seek success but may require guidance in building and maintaining a prosperous business.

The turning point arrived when I connected with Pam Featherstone, one of the world's top Business Coaches, who introduced me to her son, Zander Woodford-Smith, and their exceptional coaching system. It offered the solutions I needed to pursue my desire of actively assisting ambitious business owners, leading me to where I stand today.
